How can we preserve social ties in neighborhoods undergoing transformation?
In the latest issue ofActualitéSociale, the magazine ofAvenirSocial, dedicated to ecosocial work, we wrote an article onneighborhood activation as a lever for social sustainability.
We are convinced that sustainability is not only a question of the building itself, but also of the relationships between tenants, janitors, property managers and owners, as well as the appropriation of the premises by residents.
Fn the face of housing shortages, urban densification and the energy transition, the article highlights :
- the key role of social expertise in real estate projects,
- the importance of a detailed understanding of socio-territorial dynamics prior to any intervention,
- creating collective dynamics through concrete, visible actions,
- the need for cooperation between all players: residents, managers and owners.
This neighborhood activation approach anchors social sustainability in property management and neighborhood life, complementing technical and environmental issues to create inclusive living spaces that promote quality of life!
