In September, major changes took place in the Swiss labels, with harmonized processes and themes, as well as the launch of two district-level labels!
Minergie-Quartier is based on 5 themes and 8 criteria. The label aims for maximum efficiency in the use of natural resources (construction and operation), measures to adapt to global warming in and around buildings, district-wide energy management and incentives for soft mobility.
SNBS-Quartier is structured around three areas (society, economy and environment), 12 themes, 30 criteria and 80 measures.
It is the only Swiss sustainability standard to consider aspects of all three domains in a holistic manner.
In addition to criteria relating to energy, climate and mobility, the SNBS-Quartier also includes criteria relating to governance and networking, the facilitation of social interaction and the circular economy.
The renewal and harmonization of Swiss labels for buildings and neighborhoods sets a clear direction for businesses, building users and society as a whole, inviting them to collectively shape a climate-friendly future.
